The former beauty queen made her acting debut with Manratnam's 1977 tamil film
"Iruvar" satrring legendary versatile actor Mohanlal and her first hindi film release was
"Aur Pyaar Hoo Gaya" the same year. She is known for her memorable performances in Hum Dill
Dechuke Sanam, Devadas, Choker Bali, Raincoat, Provoked, Mohabbatein, Dhoom2,
Jodha Akbar, Enthran and Guzarish.
Aishwarya got maried to Abhisek Bachan in 2007 and the couple have a
daughter named Aaraadhya. although she is commited as an actress, she says being a mother
tops her priority list. In fact, considers her "little Aradhya, our angel" an inspiration. She is
concurrently taskng in the glory of her recently released movie "Aa Dil Hai Mushkil" in which she
is seen along the side of Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma.
